When Northern Beauty went shopping...

I'm going to my brother's Wedding in Sicily at the end of the month so thought I'd treat myself to a couple of bits.. here is what I have picked up so far in May!

when I saw Debenhams had 10% off I decided to pick up four items ..Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette - I have Lot's of palette's but I had been reading reviews *drooling* over this palette it has the perfect shades for day to evening comes in a little tin the size of my purse so easy for travelling, I also picked up Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in B20 I have wanted to try this as soon as it was released but was waiting..telling myself I would buy in duty free but again the 10% off drew me in..I then saw the Chanel Les Beige's Healthy Glow Multi-colour in No1 it was love at first sight and before I knew it, It was mine.. I also wanted to try the Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in Lovechild.. pretty packaging I couldn't resist.

I got  two of the new Clarins Lip Balm Crayon in Creamy Pink and Sweet cherry, I love Clarins lip products and couldn't resist these shades.
From eBay I picked up four (one is somewhere in my handbag) Bath and Body Works Hand sanitisers the buyer I found sold then for 99p each and combined shipping so I got them for just over £5 which I think is Great, they all smell amazing especially raspberry lemonade. I really wish Bath & Bodywork's would hurry up and set up some shops across the pond..

before I got my Boudoir Eyes I saw the Gosh smoky eye Palette in Brown thinking this would be a good travel palette, I may still take it to smoke up my evening look? I treated myself to Hourglass Ambient light blush in Dim Light, I have wanted to try for a while but for some reason never got round to picking one up but when Space NK had a free shipping I thought why not!

Feel Unique have been doing UniqueTreats throughout May, I was browsing and saw the Cocoa Brown Gift set set was £9.99 instead of £19.99 in this offer with three full sized products and the rave reviews I've seen for this fake tan i thought I'd grab one whilst they had the offer on.

I've been enjoying using the Clarins Radiance-plus Golden Glow Bronzer, I've been adding a couple of drops to my daily moisturiser to give my face a little colour before my holiday, I also picked up Kevyn Aucoin Celestial powder whilst I was out shopping a few weeks ago in Manchester with my Mum, I hadn't intended to purchase it, but when I swatched it I knew I couldn't leave it behind..

Last bu not least I have Vita Liberata SPF dry oil with Argan and Passion Flower this luxurious dry oil  sounds amazing for my skin for whilst I'm away.

I will get round to reviewing them all at some point but if you would like me to review one ASAP then please comment below and I will do it first..i now have the extremely hard job of trying to decide what Beauty products to take away with me.. I'm sure you all feel my pain!

The Body Shop InstaBlur

The latest product designed to create a flawless finish by magically blurring your imperfections is The Body Shop InstaBlur*, I have been using this wonder product for just over two weeks and have to say I am impressed! This all-new face perfector blurs imperfections, giving you flawless photo-perfect skin in an instant! With Community Fair Trade marula oil.
InstaBlur has a unique formula which contains mattifying spherical powders that fill, along with vitamin E to moisturise. Together they work to be:
  • 12 hour shine controlling
  • Pore smoothing
  • Blemish hiding
  • Complexion unifying
  • Makeup Extending
That's a lot for this little tube, I do have to agree with most of them.. Once applied it leaves a semi matt finish, powdery to touch but undetectable, I saw instantly that my fine lines just melted away and my over all complexion did look smoother, clearer and well just better! my make up did stay oil free for much longer, not quite 12hrs but nearly.. It's a definite keeper. It's available from 21st May for £14.
