January Favourites 2013

Soap & Glory Sugar crush body wash.
I love everything about this from the packaging, scent & how well it moisturisers my skin. A definite winner in my Ensuite!.
L'Oreal Lumi magique foundation
This foundation is great, it brightens up my face & makes me look alive on grey January mornings! I still love my Bourjois Healthy Mix but this month i have definitely been reaching for this one.
Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
This Mascara is amazing, it is the blackest of black, it really lengthens & Thickens my lashes giving my a  wide awake look - perfect!
Skinetica Anti - Blemish
I had a monster of a spot on my chin, but it was a blind spot (which i picked) so looked horrible i slapped some on this on before bed & the next morning it was 60% smaller, i put some more on under my makeup that day, again it looked reduced, i did the same that night & in the morning it was hardly noticeable :)
This Works Sleep Balm
This little pot of relaxation is fantastic, i rub a little on my wrists before bed & sleep like a baby, i have used it nearly every night this month & still have loads left.
Origins Plantscriptions Anti-Ageing Eye Treatment
Miracle in a tube! I got this sample in their Christmas Bauble & since using it my eyes have been moisturised, plumped, bagless, darker circles reduced, fine lines reduced. As soon as my spending ban is up i will be running out to purchased the full size.
Origins Plantscriptions Anti-Ageing Serum
Same as above but this has also made my face feel ten years younger! So smooth & hydrated! I'm in LOVE.
Nip + Fab Clean Fix Gel
This month is the first time i properly used this product as i woke up with a huge blind spot on my chin, As usual i had to pick at it & make it 10X worse than it was originally! I applied this before bed & in the morning it had reduced my spot by 60%. I applied again in the day & that night, the next day it was completely unnoticeable.

What have you been loving this month?

Essie nail Polish in Camera

Lights! Camera! Action! Poppy-Razzi is inspired by the neon fever sweeping across runways, celebrity fashions and more! This collection consists of four electric shades that were SO incredibly difficult to capture on camera.

This was another bargain £2.99 from Fragrance direct :)

This is Camera from the Poppy-Razzi Collection. Essie Camera is a bright Coral toned pink neon jelly. Wow this polish is pretty. It is eye popping bright, squishy and juicy. I love this colour. Coral has got to be my all time favourite, i love my Models Own in Hedonist & Orly's Passionfriut but OMG this polish is so stunning!

Are you an Essie fan?

Essie Nail Polish in Lights

I snapped this little beauty up from Fragrance Direct for £2.99! I am in LOVE! I think bright nails look amazing & always cheer me up.

This is part of Essie's Summer 2012 Poppy-Razzi Collection Lights is described by Essie as an “incandescent super bright pink”, to me it is the hottest blue-leaning pink shade I've seen to date, it has a satiny finish which is rich and creamy, but definitely needs top coat to make it come to glowing life.  Swatches shown with 3 coats of polish.

It looks stunning on my fingers & toes, I can't wait for Summer!

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids - Mac Dupe?

I bought Shocking Coral 870, which some are saying is a dupe for MAC Party Parrot? i don't own so can't compare but from the pictures I've seen it's a pretty close match! Now bright goes gorgeous, never garish.Brighter colour with exclusive vivid pigments.Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar.

This colour is a seriously bright coral perfect for brightening up a miserable dark day in winter or a splash of colour in summer with a tan!

I was instantly drawn to it & had to purchase it there & then, i also liked Neon Red 890, but it was not a colour i could wear easily.

The lipstick is lovely & creamy, but i would say it is slightly matte?, very bright & highly pigmented. It feel pretty moisturising on the lips, i did notice it stained my lips which for me is a good thing as i didn't need to reapply.

I bought mine from boots for £7.19. But they only had 3 of the available shades in my local Boots.

Are you brave enough to try one?

Aromatherapy Gold AromaSqueezeme

I love Aromatherapy oils & scents for changing my mood, So when i saw Aromatherapy Gold give a shout out on Twitter for Bloggers to review some of their products i jumped at it!
I received AromaSqueezeme™* they may help relieve the increasing levels of stress that modern life can bring. Everyone needs an AromaSqueezeMe™ to help get through tough days! These are lovely therapeutic sensory products.

They arrived the next day well packaged, two little  round tins. Inside i found an orange dough & a purple dough both in little zip lock bags to keep them fresh, Very intriguing i opened them up & was welcomed with a lovely scent.
As it was mid morning i had a play with the energising one & it really helped brighten my mood! There is something quite relaxing with them when i was squashing it, maybe it was because it reminded me of being a child?
Then in the evening whilst watching TV or YouTube Vids or Blogging i just roll in my hand & squeeze & they really helped to  relax me & i have slept like a baby since i have been using it! - Bonus!

The essential oils seems to soak into your hands, so the scent stays with you even after you have put them away.

Based on the old children’s favourite, it’s a silky smooth dough enriched with grapeseed oil and organic essential oils. Help relieve tension with the aromatic Lavender and Bergamot based Stress Release dough.
Or
Try the focusing, invigorating qualities of the Grapefruit and Geranium based Energising dough.  Just open the tin, inhale and squeeeeeeze!

Each one costs £4.75 from  Here or you can buy both for £8.75 Here

They also sell an Aromatherapy Play Dough Tub for children for £14.99 Which i think is pretty cool it contains
Brainy ! a sunshine yellow dough containing organic Grapefruit and Lemon essential oils to help improve concentration and focus.

Happy ! a fire engine red dough containing organic Mandarin and Lime essential oils to help uplift and banish grumpiness.

Harmony ! a juicy orange coloured dough containing organic Sweet Orange essential oil to help restore balance.

Sleepy ! a beautiful sky blue dough containing organic Lavender essential oil, to help with quiet, restful play and encourage peaceful sleep.

Sneezy ! a grass green dough containing organic Eucalyptus and Tea Tree essential oils to help with wheezes and sneezes.

I bet my 4 Year old would love this! Or maybe even the big kid in you?! :)

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask

There has been quite about of hype around this product, So when i saw a starter kit on Salon Skincare for £11! which included the perfect introduction to their Normal Skin range. It Includes cleanser, moisturiser, a best selling night care product and a treatment mask to leave your skin looking beautifully healthy, energised and radiant..

Contains:
REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel(25ml)
REN Vita-Mineral Day Cream (15ml)

REN Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream (15ml)
REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (15ml)

I thought i would buy it to try, I have been using it twice a week for the past 2 weeks, it makes my skin feel lovely, soft & hydrated but i don't think i have seen any massive improvements, but the one thing that i can't stand & has probably put me of repurchasing is the smell of it, its like putting something that  is rotting on my face, i can't describe the scent its just disgusting!

It says to Get ready to reveal a brand new complexion with the REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask. Your skin tone and texture will be dramatically improved leaving you with glowing skin and a flawless appearance.

That they have have discovered a powerful combination of a fruit acid complex and papain enzyme, from the papaya fruit, that gives a gentle yet effective exfoliating peel. Helping to eliminate dead skin cells and minimise pore blockages, the REN Glycolic Skin Renewal Peel Mask reduces inflammation while healing and repairing your skin.

If you have congested, mature, post acne scarring or blemished skin, this peel will leave your skin in optimum health.

Can one product really do all that? As i said it has made my skin feel lovely but other cheaper masks also have?Maybe i need to use it more times a week or use it a little longer to see if the magic happens :)
If you would like a review on the other products in the kit, Please leave a comment & let me know.

Have you used it & got great results?
