Budget Starter Make Up

I know when i first got into wearing make up, i had no clue what i needed to buy or which product did the best job.
Here are a few idea's that may make it easier to choose your first make up items.

Before you apply your make up you need to start with a good moisturiser that suits your skin type.

Primer - if you have very oily skin you might want to invest in a good face primer but i don't bother unless I'm going out for an occasion that lasts all day.

Base/Foundation - depending on your age and skin, you need to look for a foundation with a suitable coverage.

Light coverage - try a tinted moisturiser  like Witch Naturally Clear Anti-Blemish Tinted Moisturiser  £4. or Garnier Skin Naturals B.B. Cream Miracle Skin Perfecter £8.

Medium Coverage - Bourjois Healthy skin £9 or Rimmel wake me up £9

Full Coverage - Revlon Coverstay £10, This is the only drugstore foundation i have found that gives full coverage and will last for hours.

Concealer - Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection £5 this is great for under eyes and blemishes.

Powder - If you have oily skin or want your foundation to last longer, you can set your foundation with a powder - 17 Miracle Matte Pressed Powder £4.

Bronzer/Contour - it is best to go for a matte bronzer for both contour & colour - NYC New York Colour Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny £3.

Blush - you need a good neutral blush to go with any look - Natural Collection blushed cheeks in Peach melba or Pink Cloud £2.

Eye Shadow - You need something that is versatile for different looks a palette would be good like - Mua Heaven & Earth Palette £3 for neutral day & night smokey looks or Pop Tastic for a more colourful look £4. MUA also do single eye shadows for £1 if you wanted to experiment with colour.
If you wanted to try an Eye Primer to stop creasing or pro long the life of the shadow - E.L.F Eye Shadow primer £3.

Eye liner - MUA Eye Liners come in many colours and are only £1. they also do Eye Brow Pencils £1, but you could also use a matte eye shadow if it is the right match for your eyebrows.

Mascara - It is best to get a good mascara so it lasts and doesn't flake or clump - Maybelline's One by One Mascara £8.50.

Lips - Tinted lip balms or lip glosses are the best as they are usually sheer but if you want to go brighter you are able many different shades depending on what you like.

Hope this helps a few of you?

Can you think of other items that would be useful for a starter kit?

Thanks
